Digital waste tracking

Digital waste tracking is the UK government's programme to replace paper waste transfer notes and consignment notes with a single online record of every load, from producer to final site. It is being phased in; until a producer's start date, the paper or PDF transfer note remains the legal record.

Defined in the Commercial Waste Glossary.
