Terms of Service (TOS)
1. Introduction
Welcome to Capital Recycle Ltd’s website. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of Capital Recycle’s website and services, including any agreements made through our platform.
2. Definitions
- “We,” “Us,” and “Our” refer to Capital Recycle Ltd.
- “You” and “Your” refer to the customer or user of our services.
- “Services” refers to the waste collection, recycling, and disposal services provided by Capital Recycle.
3. Services Overview
Capital Recycle Ltd provides non-hazardous waste removal and recycling services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients in London and surrounding areas. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at our discretion without prior notice.
4. Service Agreements
4.1 Booking and Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability. Once confirmed, you will receive a booking reference, and the scheduled collection time will be arranged.
4.2 Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel a booked collection, what comes back to you depends on how much notice we get before your booked slot.
Give us 24 hours notice or more and we refund what you paid, less a cancellation charge of £75 + VAT or half of what you paid, whichever is lower.
Cancel inside 24 hours of your booked slot and the booking is non-refundable.
Same-day bookings. If you book a collection for the same day, you can cancel free of charge any time before we send a vehicle out to you. Once a vehicle is on its way the booking is non-refundable.
Wasted journeys. If we arrive and the collection can’t go ahead because we can’t get access, or the waste isn’t ready, or the load is materially different from what you described when you booked, we treat that as a cancellation inside 24 hours.
Moving your booking. Moving a booking isn’t the same as cancelling it. Give us 24 hours notice or more and we’ll move you to another slot at no charge. Inside 24 hours the terms above apply.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from, within 5 working days.
4.3 Pricing
Prices are determined based on the volume and type of waste collected. Pricing details are available on our website or provided upon request. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
4.4 Payment
One-off collections are paid for before we send a vehicle out. Recurring bag and bin accounts are invoiced on the terms set out in your service agreement. All prices exclude VAT unless we say otherwise. We take card, bank transfer and Direct Debit.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Access to Waste
You must ensure that waste is accessible at the time of collection. If our team cannot access the waste, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee.
5.2 Acceptable Waste
Only non-hazardous waste can be collected. Hazardous waste (such as but not limited to chemicals, asbestos, or medical waste) must be disposed of through specialised services and is not accepted under standard service agreements.
6. Service Disruptions
Capital Recycle Ltd strives to provide timely services. However, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, weather, or technical issues may cause delays. We will communicate any disruptions to you as soon as possible and reschedule services at the earliest convenience.
7. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal information. By using our services, you agree to our Privacy policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and process your personal data.
8. Liability
Capital Recycle Ltd shall not be held responsible for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business, profits, or reputation, arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in question.
9. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate any service agreement if you breach these terms or if providing the service becomes impossible due to external factors beyond our control.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
These terms were last updated on 29 August 2026 and apply to bookings made on or after that date.
