Waste collection for serviced apartments London: daily sacks for buildings producing 20 to 60 bags a day and more

Waste collection for serviced apartments London operators arrange with Capital Recycle runs daily where the postcode allows, in general waste and dry mixed recycling sacks, for buildings producing 20 to 60 bags a day and more each, with limited bin storage and housekeeping on a daily turnaround. One building or several, each on its own schedule, on one account. Sacks come from our own stock, so a new building can start within 24 to 48 hours.

Who it is for

Operators and managing agents responsible for the commercial waste of serviced accommodation.

Self-catering units, daily housekeeping, year-round occupancy: the waste is steady, it arrives every day, and it comes from guest deliveries as much as from the rooms. This page is for the operator who holds the waste contract for the building, not for a household collection or a one-off flat clearance.

Evidence from busy buildings

25 to 60 bags a day, seven days a week, at a large aparthotel near Tower Bridge.

Daily volumes ranged from 25 to 60 bags across the seasons. We collected seven days a week and absorbed the seasonal peaks within the same schedule and contract.

20 to 40 bags a day at each of two buildings near Farringdon and Cannon Street.

Both buildings sat on the same account. The range applied to each building on its own, not to the pair combined.

Weekly black-bag collections for accommodation near Euston Station.

Our accommodation work also includes regular weekly wait and load collections of black bags from student accommodation and serviced-apartment buildings in the area. Where a building fills slowly, a weekly wait and load visit can fit better than a daily sack round.
One building or several

Each site gets its own postcode check, presentation point and schedule. The account stays one.

1
Postcode and route days, confirmed per building.
2
Where housekeeping leaves the sacks and where we collect, per building.
3
Access and any time window, per building.
4
Who holds the waste contract: the operator, or the building's service charge. We ask before we quote.
Housekeeping and the handover

Sacks out with the day's turnaround, gone on the same visit.

Housekeeping bags the rooms and the common areas, the sacks go to the agreed point, and we collect inside the council collection window for the address. We do not clear rooms and we do not need a concierge; we need an agreed point and a way in.

Streams

  • General waste and dry mixed recycling in pre-paid sacks on the same visit.
  • Cardboard from guest deliveries as a dedicated stream when it outgrows the recycling sack.
  • Glass in its own 240L bin.
  • Food waste as a separate stream through a specialist partner, in sealed containers.

FAQ

Can each building have a different schedule?
Yes. Days and volume are set per building; the account and the invoice are one.
What happens in peak season?
Tell us the peak. The Tower Bridge aparthotel ran from 25 to 60 bags a day across the year on one schedule.
We have very little bin space.
Sacks need a presentation point, not a bin store. Buildings with a store can add 1100L or 660L bins.
Do you collect weekly as well as daily?
Yes. Daily sack rounds for busy buildings, weekly wait and load where a building fills slowly.
Who signs the contract?
Whoever holds the waste responsibility for the building. If waste sits in the service charge, we ask you to confirm that first.

Sacks at the building this week. Collections on your days from then on.
