How quickly can you clear an office in London?

Do you provide a Waste Transfer Note?
Yes, same-day by email. Required for landlord deposit return and ICO/lease compliance. Annual aggregate summaries on request for FM, ISO 14001, B Corp or planning files — no extra charge.
Can you handle confidential IT equipment with secure data destruction?
Yes. For IT equipment with stored data (hard drives, servers, laptops, devices) we route the secure data-destruction step via one of our specialist ITAD partners (IT Asset Disposition). They handle the wipe to NIST 800-88 standard and issue the certificate per device or per batch. We coordinate end-to-end — collection from your site, transit, wipe and recycle, certificate delivery back to you. WEEE-licensed disposal applies once data is destroyed. Mention IT data destruction at quote stage so we factor in the partner cost and timing.
What about POPs furniture (sofas, armchairs)?
Upholstered office furniture has been classed as POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) since end of 2022. We route them via our licensed POPs disposal partner — included in the Half/Full Load price for standard volumes. If a job is heavily POPs-weighted (10+ sofas / 50+ chairs), we flag the disposal cost up front.
Can you load the office for us?
Yes. Your driver loads it for you (1 person) for +£40 + VAT (£48 inc. VAT). Brings a loaded Half to £200 + VAT, loaded Full to £360 + VAT. Available next-day with 24h notice. For heavy items needing 2-person lifts, or larger jobs that would benefit from a 2nd loader, call 0207 101 4003 for a bespoke quote.
Do you offer recycling reports for ESG / B Corp?
Yes — per-project recycling reports issued on request. Includes weight per stream, disposal partner type, landfill diversion percentage, and POPs/WEEE routing evidence. Useful for B Corp impact assessment, ISO 14001 EMS files, planning applications, and corporate sustainability reporting.
Do you do weekend / out-of-hours clearance?
Yes — Saturday, Sunday and out-of-hours collections available with 24-48h notice. Flat surcharge of +£100 + VAT on top of the load price (same fee on Half or Full Load) to cover crew overtime. Common for tenant handbacks on a Friday-Sunday window or pre-Monday opening.
Can you handle partial clearances — just IT, or just furniture?
Yes. Half Load (£160) handles a single category (10 desks + chairs, or 5 fridges, or 50 IT towers + monitors). Useful if you're scaling back rather than fully closing. Tell us the scope at enquiry and we'll quote the smallest cage that fits — no upselling.
What about archives and confidential paper?
Boxed paper and general office paper, yes — collected for confidential or general recycling. Shred-it volumes (5+ banker boxes, security-required disposal) we collect for our shred-it partner under a separate quote; certificate of destruction included. Don't mix shred-required documents with general waste.
Do you need access to a goods lift?
Helps but not always required. For floor-level or single-floor clearances we work without. For 5+ floors of furniture or IT, a working goods lift cuts the job time (and cost) significantly. Tell us the access situation at enquiry — we'll factor lift availability into the slot.
What if our site doesn't have service-area access?
We work street-side. Cage van parks on the kerb (or in an agreed loading bay), crew carries items out. Most central London buildings without service yards work this way. Permit-required suspensions (red routes, restricted zones) need 3-5 days' notice or we'll work around them.
Can you handle multi-floor strip-outs over multiple days?
Yes — that's the Full Strip-Out tier. Multiple Full Load visits across days, coordinated with your fit-out programme. We schedule daily windows that match the demolition contractor's plan. Per-project ESG report covers the whole job at handover.
What's a typical price for clearing a 5-person vs 50-person office?
5-person office (5 desks, 5 chairs, 2 cabinets, kitchen, IT): typically Half Load at £160 + VAT, often loaded for you at +£40. 50-person office (25 desks, 50 chairs, 12+ cabinets, server room, kitchen, soft furniture): typically 2-3 Full Loads at £320 each + VAT, scheduled over 1-2 days. Most quotes confirmed within an hour of photos.
Do you give written quotes for FM / procurement sign-off?
Yes. Written quote on company letterhead, includes scope, price per load, surcharges (POPs, hazardous, OOH), payment terms, WTN deliverable. Ready for procurement upload to your e-tendering system. Most FM/procurement reviews accept within 24-48 hours.
Are you on any major FM framework lists?
SafeContractor accredited via Alcumus, which most major FM frameworks pre-approve. We can complete supplier-vetting forms for any new framework within 5-10 working days. Ask at quote stage if your framework needs us approved before sign-off — we'll prioritise the paperwork.
Can you coordinate with our fit-out contractor?
Yes — we routinely work alongside fit-out GCs. Clear before, segregated removal during, snag-clearance after. Direct contact with site manager, daily windows in the programme, RAMS shared as standard. We don't hold up the fit-out by under-resourcing the strip-out.
What documentation do you need from us to start?
Site address, contact name, access details (lift, parking, restricted hours), scope (photos help), preferred date. We provide the rest: insurance certificate, RAMS, WTN. For first-time customers we send a short Supplier Form back to capture VAT details, invoice address and payment terms.
Do you remove fixtures (partition walls, ceiling tiles, kitchenettes)?
Soft strip-out (kitchenettes, partition walls, ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, raised floor): yes, via Wait & Load. Hard strip-out (concrete blockwork, structural, M&E disconnection): out of scope — coordinate with your principal contractor. We'll handle whatever the fit-out crew strips and stacks for us.
