For cleaning and housekeeping contractors
Waste collection for cleaning companies London: one account, every client site
Waste collection for cleaning companies London contractors hold for their clients runs on one account: regular sacks or 1100L to 240L bins at every office and building your teams clean, banded on the group's combined volume. Your cleaners prepare the waste. We collect it from the agreed point, on the agreed days, and each client site gets its own paperwork.

Who this is for
Cleaning contractors who arrange the waste as well as the cleaning.
If your contract covers the bins as well as the floors, you need a collector who turns up on the days your cleaners are in, keeps each site's paperwork straight and does not need chasing. Offices first, but the same setup works for the other buildings you look after.
Office cleaning contracts
Regular general waste and recycling for the workplaces you clean, from a single floor to a managed building. Agree where the cleaners leave the sacks, match sacks or bins to the space, and we collect on the agreed days.
Contractors with several client sites
One account for your company, one per-sack rate set by the sacks all your sites fill between them, each site scheduled on its own. Add a site when you win a contract, and the invoice shows which is which.
Housekeeping at serviced accommodation
Serviced accommodation and aparthotels run by an operator, where your housekeepers change over the rooms. Tell us about the shared bin store, the waste streams and the access, and we fit the collections around the changeover.
Your company holds the waste contract
A contractor who bundles waste into the cleaning contract holds the account in their own name and bills it on to the client. Some clients want the agreement in theirs. Either works; we confirm who arranges and who approves before the first collection. If a client would rather deal with us directly, our office waste collection page is written for their office manager.
Sacks and bins for cleaning companies
Two sacks cover most of what an office throws away, and a bin where the building has room for one.
Sacks suit buildings with nowhere to keep a bin. Bins suit buildings with a store and street access. A contractor with several sites usually ends up with a mix, and we quote each site on what it produces and where the waste can wait.
GENERAL WASTE
What goes in the general waste sack
- Bin liners from the desk bins and kitchen
- Disposable coffee cups and lids
- Food packaging and food-soiled paper or card
- Soft plastics, cling film, crisp packets
- Tissues, paper towels and kitchen roll
- Other non-recyclable office waste
DRY MIXED RECYCLING
What goes in the recycling sack
- Office paper, envelopes and junk mail
- Flattened cardboard from deliveries
- Plastic bottles and containers, rinsed
- Drink cans and food tins
- Clean foil and trays
- No glass: it has its own collection
Glass stays out of the recycling sack and goes in its own bin. If a client site has a bottle habit or hosts events, ask for a glass bin alongside the sacks.
Food waste goes in a sealed bin, bagged, never loose. Worth asking about for a client with a staff canteen or a serviced building with a busy kitchen. Quoted per site.
Cardboard in volume. When a site produces more than the recycling sack can take, deliveries and fit-outs for example, we set up a separate cardboard collection and quote it per site.
Sanitary and offensive waste from washrooms must stay out of general waste. It is a separate licensed stream in its own bins and we do not take it, but we can refer you to one of our partners if the site has nothing set up.
Not sure whether a site should be on sacks or bins? Compare commercial bag collection and commercial bin collection, or tell us about the site when we call and we will suggest the setup.

Pricing, one rate across your sites
One rate for the group, set by how many sacks your sites fill.
Sacks are priced per sack, and the price is set by usage: the more sacks your sites fill each week between them, the lower the rate. The count is added up across every site on your account, not taken site by site, which is why a cleaning company with several contracts starts lower than a single office would. Bins are quoted per site as one fixed monthly figure, with no bin rental. The published sack bands are on our bag collection page.
How the price works for a contractor
- From £1.50 + VAT per sack at volume. The rate is set by how many sacks all your sites fill each week between them, and it moves with usage: as the combined count grows on a committed schedule, the per-sack price steps down without a renegotiation.
- The band is set for the whole group of sites, on the combined committed weekly volume on a 12-month agreement, with each site on one of our routes. Prefer a 1-month rolling option? Add 10%.
- The per-sack price covers sack delivery, collection, transport and disposal, with no zone surcharge for central London. The annual Waste Transfer Note service is charged separately for each waste stream at each site and shown in your quote. Invoiced monthly with each site as its own line; Direct Debit is the payment method we recommend.
- Sacks delivered free from our own stock. First sacks arrive within 24 to 48 hours of cleared payment, minimum order 50 sacks (two rolls of 25), and reorders come with the driver on a collection day. Brief your cleaners to tie off at 5 kg; excess weight can be charged separately.
How the handover works
Your team prepares the waste. We collect it.
Most of waste management for a cleaning company is the handover. Agree the practical details before the first collection, so your cleaners, the client and our driver all know their part.

YOUR CLEANING TEAM
What your cleaners do
- Empty the desk bins and kitchen into our sacks, general waste and recycling kept separate
- Tie each sack off at about 5 kg, two knots
- Leave the sacks at the agreed point inside the building's presentation window, or wheel the bin to the agreed spot
- Tell us if the site's volume changes or the client moves the cleaning hours
CAPITAL RECYCLE
What we do
- Collect from the agreed point on the agreed days, at times set by the council's rules for that street and what we agree with you
- Deliver sacks from stock, first order within 24 to 48 hours of cleared payment, reorders on collection days
- Keep an annual Waste Transfer Note per waste stream at each site
- Take a pallet a delivery left behind, on the sack round, for £10 + VAT
1
Tell us the site
Where it is, what it produces, roughly how many sacks a week and when your cleaners finish. Not sure on volume? Say so and we suggest a starting band.
2
Agree the handover
Sacks or bins, the collection point, the presentation window, the collection days and who to call if the usual handover can't happen.
3
Brief your cleaners
We drop the sack rolls at reception or with your supervisor. The what-goes-where lists on this page cover the sorting; add the 5 kg limit and the collection point and a new starter gets it right on night one.
4
Collections begin
Start on the agreed date. The account, the site contact and the paperwork are set up before the first collection. When you win the next site, send us the address and what it produces and we quote it the same way.
Where we collect
Central London offices and commercial sites across the city.
We run collection routes across central and Greater London, and we cover Watford and the WD postcodes. Tell us where each site is and we check it against the rounds we already drive. Street presentation rules vary by borough, so we confirm storage, access and permitted times when we agree the service. If a postcode is not in the grid, ask anyway.
Licence and insurance
Confirm who keeps the waste records at each site.
We are a registered Upper Tier Waste Carrier with commercial insurance in place. Each client site on a recurring service gets an annual Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note per waste stream, so the record sits with the site whoever pays the invoice. Make sure the person responsible for that site's waste records has a copy. Our Waste Transfer Note guide explains what the note covers.
Public Liability £5m
Commercial liability cover for all collection activities.
Waste Transfer Note per site
One annual note per waste stream at each site. Satisfies the Duty of Care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Documented service terms
Plain-English contract schedule, available before you sign, with each site listed.
Common questions
What cleaning contractors ask before they add us to a contract.
Not covered here? Ring 0207 101 4003 and we will answer it on the phone.
Can collections fit around our cleaning hours?
Yes. Tell us when your team finishes at that site and where the sacks can wait. Collection times follow the council's restrictions for that street and what we agree with you, so the sacks go out after your cleaners have been through and are gone inside the permitted window. We confirm it before the service starts and review it with you if the client changes the hours.
Do you collect from inside the offices?
The standard arrangement is that your team prepares the waste and leaves it at the agreed collection point: the kerb inside the building's presentation window, a loading bay, or a bin store. If a site needs something different, tell us before we quote it rather than after.
Can you collect from several client sites?
Yes. One account for your company, one per-sack rate set by the combined weekly count across all your sites, and each site scheduled on its own. Tell us where each site is, what it produces and the cleaning hours; we check each one against our routes and confirm before anything starts. To add a site later, send us the address and what it produces and we quote it the same way.
Do we have to sign a long-term contract?
Two options. A 12-month agreement at the published per-sack rate, which renews for another 12 months unless you give 60 days notice before the renewal date; we send a reminder 90 days before. You can exit a site earlier with notice; an early-termination fee applies, set out in your contract. Or a 1-month rolling option at +10%, which suits a site whose cleaning contract is itself short.
Should a site use sacks or bins?
It depends on storage, access and volume. No bin store and a tight pavement window means sacks. A yard or bin store with street access usually means bins. Compare commercial bag collection and commercial bin collection, or describe the site and we will suggest the setup.
What if our client already has a waste contract?
Check its notice and renewal terms first. Tell us the intended changeover date and we hold a start date for it, or run alongside the incumbent while the switch happens. Our guide to switching waste provider explains what to prepare.
Does this cover ordinary residential flats?
No. This service is for business waste, including serviced accommodation and aparthotels run as a business. It isn't a recurring household bin service.
What happens if you miss a collection?
Tell us in writing within 24 hours and we will contact you to arrange the next collection. We are a small founder-led company, so when traffic or a vehicle problem gets in the way you reach the people who run the round, not a queue, and you can tell your client something specific.
New cleaning contract? Get the collection agreed before day one.
Tell us the first site you need covered, what it produces and when your team finishes. You'll have a price for that site and a suggested schedule before the end of the day, and every site after it goes on the same account.
