What size commercial bin do I need?

The size of commercial bin you need comes from your bin bags in a normal week: count them and match them to a bin. About 3 bags a week fits a 240 litre bin, 5 a 360, 10 a 660 and 15 an 1100. A café on its own usually needs a 660; a restaurant with a kitchen an 1100 or two; a salon or small studio a 240 or 360. Double it if you recycle: general waste and dry mixed recycling need a bin each. If you are between sizes, take the smaller bin on a more frequent collection: a lift costs less than an empty bin in a narrow yard, and we can change size or frequency later.
