How do I get rid of trade waste?

You get rid of trade waste by booking a registered waste carrier. For regular rubbish, a sack or wheelie bin collection on a weekly or more frequent round; for a one-off clear-out, a wait and load collection or a skip. The carrier must be on the Environment Agency's public register, and you get a waste transfer note for each load, or one annual note for a regular service. What you cannot do: put trade waste in household bins, take it to a household recycling centre, or hand it to someone with a van and no registration. If that waste is fly-tipped, the duty of care comes back to you. We collect sacks, bins and loads across London.
