WEEE is waste electrical and electronic equipment: computers, monitors, printers, fridges, kettles, lamps, anything with a plug, a cable or a battery. Under the WEEE Regulations 2013 it cannot go in general waste; it must be collected separately for reuse or recycling. Office clearances route it through a specialist partner, with data wiped on IT equipment.
Defined in the Commercial Waste Glossary.
